Viewing Account Activity and Login History

Monitoring your account activity and login history is essential for maintaining security and ensuring that no unauthorized access occurs. In the Client Zone, you can easily review your account’s activity and keep track of login attempts. Here’s how to view your account activity and login history effectively.

1. Log into Your Client Zone Account

Begin by accessing your account in the Client Zone.

  • Visit the Client Zone Login Page: Navigate to the designated login page for the Client Zone.
  • Enter Your Credentials: Input your username and password to log in to your account.

2. Access Account Activity Section

Once logged in, locate the account activity section where you can review your login history and account actions.

  • Find the Account or Profile Menu: Look for an “Account,” “Security,” or “Activity” option in the navigation menu or dashboard.
  • Select Account Activity or Login History: Within the account settings, find the option for viewing account activity or login history.

3. Review Your Login History

In the login history section, you will find a list of all login attempts made to your account.

  • Check Login Entries: Review the entries for each login attempt, which typically include:
    • Date and Time: When each login attempt was made.
    • IP Address: The IP address from which the login was attempted.
    • Login Status: Whether the login attempt was successful or failed.

4. Analyze Account Activity

The account activity section provides details about actions taken within your account.

  • View Recent Transactions: Check for any recent transactions or changes made to your account, such as updates to payment information or service changes.
  • Monitor Changes Made: Look for any entries indicating changes to account settings, password updates, or authorized user modifications.

5. Identify Suspicious Activity

Regularly reviewing your login history and account activity can help identify any unauthorized access.

  • Look for Unrecognized Logins: If you see logins from unfamiliar IP addresses or locations, this may indicate unauthorized access.
  • Check for Unusual Activity: Be vigilant for any activity that you did not initiate or authorize.

6. Take Action if Necessary

If you suspect unauthorized access or see any suspicious activity, it’s essential to take action promptly.

  • Change Your Password: If you notice any unusual logins, immediately change your password to secure your account.
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): If not already set up, consider enabling 2FA for an additional layer of security.
  • Contact Support: If you have concerns about unauthorized access or need assistance, reach out to Coast IT for support.

7. Log Out After Reviewing

For security purposes, especially when accessing your account from shared or public devices, always log out after reviewing your account activity.

  • Log Out of Your Account: Make sure to log out once you’ve finished checking your account activity to prevent unauthorized access by others.
