Coast IT allows you to add authorized users to your Client Zone account, enabling trusted team members or colleagues to help manage services, access invoices, and communicate with support on your behalf. Follow these steps to add authorized users to your account:
1. Log into the Client Zone
Visit the Coast IT website and log into the Client Zone using your email and password.
2. Go to Account Settings
In the Client Zone dashboard, navigate to the “Account Settings” or “User Management” section, where you can manage account access.
3. Select “Add Authorized User”
In the User Management area, look for an option to add a new user. Click on “Add Authorized User” or similar to open the form for adding additional users to your account.
4. Enter the User’s Details
Fill in the required details for the new authorized user, including their full name, email address, and contact information. Specify any roles or permissions they should have:
- Billing Access: Allows the user to view invoices, make payments, and access billing information.
- Support Access: Grants the user permission to submit and track support tickets.
- Service Management: Enables the user to view and manage services on your behalf.
5. Set Access Level and Permissions
Customize the user’s access level based on their role in your organization. For example:
- Full Access: Grants full access to all account features and services.
- Limited Access: Restricts access to specific areas, such as billing or support only.
6. Save and Confirm
After entering the user’s details and setting permissions, save the changes to confirm their access. The new user will receive an email invitation to set up their login credentials and access the Client Zone.
7. Managing and Removing Authorized Users
You can view a list of all authorized users in the User Management section. If a user’s access needs to be updated or removed, simply select their name and adjust their permissions or delete their profile as needed.
Keeping Your Account Secure
Only add users who require access to your account, and assign permissions based on their role. Regularly review your list of authorized users to ensure only active and trusted members have access.
