These Client Zone Access and Usage Terms (“Terms”) govern the access and use of the Client Zone platform provided by Coast IT (“Service Provider”). By accessing the Client Zone, you (the “Client”) agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Client Zone Overview
The Client Zone is an online platform designed to provide Clients with access to their accounts, services, invoices, and support resources. Through the Client Zone, Clients can manage their services, view billing information, submit support tickets, and access various resources offered by Coast IT.
2. Account Registration
To access the Client Zone, Clients must register for an account. The registration process requires Clients to provide accurate and complete information.
- Registration Process: Clients must fill out the registration form with required details, including name, email address, and password.
- Account Verification: Clients may be required to verify their email address before gaining access to the Client Zone.
3. Account Security
Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including passwords.
- Password Management: Clients must choose a strong password and change it regularly. Passwords should not be shared with others.
- Unauthorized Access: If Clients suspect that their account has been compromised or accessed without authorization, they must notify Coast IT immediately. Clients may be held liable for any unauthorized use of their accounts.
4. Access Rights
Coast IT grants Clients a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Client Zone for personal and business purposes related to the services provided by Coast IT.
- Permitted Use: Clients may use the Client Zone to manage their services, view invoices, submit support requests, and access information related to their account.
- Prohibited Use: Clients are prohibited from using the Client Zone for any unlawful purpose, to violate any applicable laws or regulations, or to engage in activities that could harm the integrity or security of the Client Zone.
5. User Conduct
Clients agree to use the Client Zone in a professional manner and refrain from any conduct that may disrupt the services or the experience of other Clients.
- Respectful Communication: Clients must communicate respectfully when interacting with Coast IT support staff through the Client Zone.
- Prohibited Activities: Engaging in abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior, or posting inappropriate content, is strictly prohibited.
6. Data Privacy and Protection
Coast IT is committed to protecting the privacy and security of Client data.
- Data Handling: Any personal or business information provided by Clients will be handled in accordance with Coast IT’s Privacy Policy.
- Confidentiality: Coast IT will implement appropriate measures to protect the confidentiality of Client data accessed or stored within the Client Zone.
7. Service Availability
Coast IT strives to provide uninterrupted access to the Client Zone but does not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times.
- Maintenance and Downtime: Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may result in temporary unavailability. Coast IT will make reasonable efforts to notify Clients of any planned downtime.
- No Liability for Service Interruptions: Coast IT shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the unavailability of the Client Zone.
8. Termination of Access
Coast IT reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Client’s access to the Client Zone at its discretion.
- Termination Conditions: Access may be terminated for reasons including, but not limited to, violation of these Terms, unauthorized use of the platform, or failure to comply with payment obligations.
- Post-Termination Access: Upon termination, Clients may lose access to their account and any associated data.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Coast IT be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Client Zone, even if Coast IT has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in South Africa.
11. Amendments
Coast IT reserves the right to amend these Client Zone Access and Usage Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
